Appearance: A somewhat tall woman with cappacino colored skin and white hair. She has blue eyes except when using her powers, at which point they turn completely white.

Personality: Thanks to her years on the street, Ororo isn't a very trusting person and her years of being worshipped have made her rather arrogant. However, in spite of all of that she has rather strong leadership skills and is a shrewed judge of character. While her softer side is rarely seen, when it does show up it completely transforms her. She is also incredibly claustrophobic.

History: Ororo Munroe was born in New York City to David Munroe, an American photojournalist, and N'Dar, a Kenyan princess. When she was six months old, her parents moved to Cairo where she spent her early childhood. The family home was destroyed in an air raid when Ororo was six, killing her parents and burying her alive for many hours beneath the reckage of her home.

For the next six years, Ororo ran with a group of street urchins and theives, learning at the feet of one of the more talented of these. But when she reached the age of twelve, she felt drawn southwards, convinced there could be more to her life than this. She traveled across the Sahara into Kenya and it was on this journey that her powers manifested. She spent the next several years helping the tribes by providing the weather they needed to grow their crops. As a result, she was worshipped as a goddess and her every need was seen to.

This was all interrupted, however, when Professor Xavier came to her, seeking her help to rescue the X-Men from Karakoa island where they had been imprisoned. Moved by the professor's plea, she left Kenya and aided in the rescue. She quickly discovered that the rest of the world feared her for the power she possessed and this often manifested itself in violence and hatred. To escape all of that, she joined the Professor and the X-Men, deciding not to return to her home in Kenya. Since then, she has been one of the leaders of the X-Men and aids those around the school who have need of her abilities to help them learn their own, teaching with an open - if often distant - hand.

Mutation/powers: Storm is an extremely powerful weatherwitch, able to control the elements pretty much at will. She can create or calm things as powerful as tidal waves and hurricanes, or as small as a summer breeze. She is able to affect the humidity in her area and cannot be hurt by weather that is directly under her control. She can also use her abilities to fly by creating winds strong enough to support her weight.
